Why we do it

Metals are essential for any commercial development and growth of society. There is a strong correlation between growth in population and the need to produce more to cope with their demand.  Metals have the ability to maintain their original properties of strength and durability when they are recycled, without requiring as great an energy cost as the process for raw material extraction. 

As well as the compelling environmental benefits of using recycled materials, Sunberg knows that there need to be sound commercial reasons for using these products - supply needs to be readily available in industry-standard grades at fair trade prices. 

To Sunberg, it makes both commercial sense and ethical sense for industry to use recycled materials, rather than extracting raw materials, and we ensure that our service provides a compelling argument for doing just that.
